Privacy Policy

Last updated October 4th, 2026

Monster Technologies, Inc. (“MonsterWeb,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website at monsterweb.net and our client area at account.monsterweb.net, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you visit our website

Our website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing it loads from another company is Google reCAPTCHA on our contact page, described below. Like every web server, ours automatically records basic technical information with each visit: your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, the page that linked you to us, and the date and time. We use these records only to keep the site secure and working, and they are kept for a limited time.

When you use the domain search box, the name you type is sent to our client area to check whether it is available.

When you send us a message through our contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your message, and the IP address it was sent from. We use them only to answer you. The form emails your message to us and does not store it on the website.

To keep out spam, our contact form, and the domain search and forms in our client area, use Google reCAPTCHA. It collects information about your device and how you use the page and sends it to Google, and its use is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

When you become a client

When you order services or open an account in our client area, we collect the information needed to provide and bill for those services:

  • Contact information, such as your name, company name, email address, mailing address and phone number
  • Billing information, such as your payment card details and billing address
  • Account information, such as your username, password, order history and support tickets
  • Information about your business that you choose to give us, such as your company name and type of business

Our client area uses cookies that are needed for you to log in and to place an order, and Google reCAPTCHA on its forms as described above. They are not used for advertising.

How we use your information

  • To provide the domains, hosting, websites and marketing services you order
  • To bill you and process your payments
  • To answer your support requests and questions
  • To send you notices about your account and services, such as renewals, invoices and security notices
  • To keep our website, servers and client area secure
  • To meet our legal obligations

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only as follows:

  • Domain registration. Registering a domain name requires us to give your contact information to the domain registry and registrar, as required by ICANN and the registry for that extension. Domain Privacy, where available, keeps that information out of the public domain directory.
  • Service providers. Companies that help us deliver our services, such as our payment processor and our data center, receive only the information they need to do that work for us and may not use it for anything else.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information when required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, or investigate fraud.
  • Business transfers. If Monster Technologies, Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of its assets, we will notify you by email or with a notice on our website of any change in ownership or in how your information is used.

Security

Our website and client area are served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we follow generally accepted industry practices to protect the information you give us. No method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How long we keep your information

We keep client account and billing records for as long as you have an account with us and afterward as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes. Contact form messages are kept in our email only as long as needed to answer them and follow up. Website server records are kept for a limited time.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update your contact and billing information at any time in our client area. You may also ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Depending on where you live, including Texas and California, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other websites, including sites we have built for our clients. Their privacy practices may differ from ours, and we encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices. If we make material changes, we will notify clients by email or with a notice on our website before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
